Fanny Serrano True Light Liquid Lipstick in Light Tulip

Good day! Today I'm going to share you this super awesome lipstick that I bought -- Fanny Serrano True Light Liquid Lipstick in Light Tulip or FSTLLLLTP for short. Wait, what? Its confusing? Let's just stick with  FS True Light. Haha! (^_^)

So, to tell you the story, my mom and I were at the mall buying stuffs and when we crossed the make-up section in a department store, I went craaaazzy looking at make up products (as usual). Haha! Anyway, when I came across to this lipstick, I am so amazed! Like wow! I bought a FS True Light in Light Tulip because I just want a little bit natural shade that I can wear everyday.

So here it is:

The packaging (I forgot to remove the tag. Haha!)

If you look closer to the ingredients below, you'll see that it has Paraben. But you can prevent putting it to your lips by applying a lip balm first. (^^,)

The Ingedients
 Unboxing:
The color is really pretty!

One cute thing in here is that it has a mini mirror on the side so that you can apply it anywhere you are!

So here what the inside looks like:

The liquid lipstick looks like a lip gloss but with a thicker consistency. In fact, it is very creamy. It has a wand applicator that for me is not that hygienic but that is not really a problem to me. But hey! Why is it called true light?

Here's the answer. Tadaa!

What is that light?!

Wow!

As you open the cap of the lipstick, the light will automatically open! It means that with that light and the little mirror at the side, you can apply this anytime and anywhere without finding a powder room or a comfort room. Pretty neat huh? (^^,)

FS True Light Liquid Lipstick claims that this "Saturate your lips with this innovative, light-reflecting, amazing shine." Let's see what it looks like when you apply it.

Pros:
  • The color is very pretty. Suitable for everyday use
  • It has this light and mirror for more convenience
  • The texture is creamy
  • Not bad for Php200

Cons:
  • The lipstick is so glossy like a lip gloss. (Though it doesn't bother me that much)
  • Somewhat drying and sinks onto your lip line. (But if you put a lip balm first, this is not a big problem)
  • Doesn't last long. It REALLY doesn't. You need to reapply every 2-3 hours and every AFTER meal. It can be removed that easily.

My Rating: 3.5/5 = I like it because its awesome but the staying power turns me off.

Repurchase? I don't think so.
Recommend? If you didn't mind reapplying then yeah, this one is a good way to go. :)

Sleek Magic Hair Bun

Hello Princesses! It's been 9 months since I last updated my blog. Haha! I've been busy and lazy at the same time. (-_-) But I'll do my best to keep this blog alive by posting every day or at least once a week. (^^,)

So anyway, I like to share a very good accessory for your hair. Not all girls want to show off their hair to everyone. They would just want to simply tie it up and "bunning" your hair is a good way to go. But how can make a perfect hair bun? Now here's the answer:

 Magic Hair Bun

Tadaaaa! I bought this online to my friends' online store at Php20. You can visit them at their FB page https://www.facebook.com/abiregierein. They also sell aunthentic NYX products and more! Why don't you give them a visit? :)

I saw at the other online stores that they sell this for like Php60. But I saw a site wherein they sell it whole sale and when you calculate it, its like Php5 each. Anyway, I'm cautious about online selling so I bought mine to to my friends. ;)

Back to the topic, at first, I didn't know how to do a bun out of this. I was like, "Are you kidding me?" and "How the heck can I make a bun out of this?" But then, when I followed the steps on the packaging (Sorry, I threw the packaging and forgot taking a picture of it.)...

I'm surprised!

It is my first attempt but it look so good! (Or at least for me. lol) The bun is big and kinda perfect. You can also use this for parties for a more sophisticated look or simply use it as home so that you can move your head comfortably and without those annoying hair that sticks on your face.

Here are the other photos:

MF Colour Elixir Lipstick in Pink Brandy (825) Review

Hello Princesses! Today, I will make a review about my first lipstick ever. The Max Factor Colour Elixir in Pink Brandy.

My aunt gave this to me 2 years ago when she went here in the Philippines for a vacation. She said that MF is having a huge sale in London so she bought many lipsticks for her children and relatives.

So here it is:

(This is an old packaging. I saw the new one and it rocks!)

When I went to the mall, I asked the saleslady of MF if they have this lippy. Fortunately, they have! yay! But the packaging looks so cheap (yeah, it is different than the original). But it doesn't matter that much. Besides, I am looking for the content, not the case. I think it costs around Php550 that is why I backed out haha! (I'm just a student with limited budget)

(Sorry, my lipstick is almost empty, but I can still use it with the help of my lip brush)

(Isn't it obvious that I love this lipstick?)

Swatching time! (^^,)

 (w/ flash: indoors)

Pink Brandy is a soft coral shade with a hint of pink undertone, cute isn't?

(w/o flash: indoors)

(w/o flash: natural light)

Lip swatch:

(w/o flash: natural light)

See? The soft shade of this lipstick is very pretty, making it suitable for everyday use.

Pros:
  • It glides onto your lips easily.
  • Very moisturizing. It doesn't dries my lips and doesn't emphasize the cracks on the lips
  • The shade is not too bright. Suitable for everyday use
  • No need to apply lip balm
Cons:
  • It is quite expensive for a lipstick, especially for people in a tight budget (like me).
  • The staying power is not that good. It only lasts for 3-4 hours without eating (but I don't mind re-applying)

Rating: 4.8/5 = The best lipstick that I've tried so far..

Repurchase? If I have the budget for that..
Recommend? Yep. This one deserves it. (^^,)

Garnier Pure Active Anti-Imperfections Cooling Roll-On Review

Tadaa! I'm back! And for my first review, I will share my favorite skin care that I use today! This week is the last hell week for almost all college students. "The final stretch" as my professor said. Some students are studying hard while the others are too lazy to study because summer is here!

Because exams are too stressful, this is the time where I encounter major breakouts. I tried going to dermatology clinics but it just worsen my skin condition. So, as I am watching TV, I saw a medical show that talked about pimples. I heard that salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide are the best in treating breakouts.

I've tried PanOxyl before and it really works. The only problem was my face looked darker than the usual so I stopped using it. I am reconsidering using it again but there are many bad reviews about the new formulation of it so I looked for an alternative.

Then I see this:

(Sorry, I had to picture it on the dining table ^^,)

My 2nd cousin recommended that to me because it works quite well for her. I bought this on sale at SM MarketMall. I bought it at Php208 (if I'm not mistaken). Pretty neat huh?

I do not use the facial scrub because I already have a facial wash for me.. So, move on to the roll-on.. (^^,)

Claims:
  • Dries out imperfections
  • Visibly fades marks
  • In 5 hours, the redness is reduced
  • In 2 days, imperfections and marks are visibly reduced
Directions for use: Apply directly onto and around imperfections and their marks as soon as they appear. Continue applications until they have cleared. Avoid eye area.

*Dermatologically tested on Asian acne-prone skin

My review:

Honestly, I don't understand why it has to be a "roll-on". But oh well. It doesn't bother me that much..

Uncapping the roll-on..

All I can say is, it does its job well! I am really happy with the results on my skin. My pimples are gone like nothing happened to my face. Furthermore, it doesn't dries my skin as claimed by my fellow bloggers.

Pros:
  •  It dries out my imperfections!
  • It reduces my dark spots (eventually)..
  • 15 mL is enough for over a year usage! (depends on how much you use the product)
  • Pocket-friendly (lol)
  • It doesn't dries my face
Cons:
  • It doesn't reduce the redness of my pimple.
Rating: 4.3/5! yay! (^^,)
Repurchase? Absolutely! :)

My First Post Everrr!

Hello guys! This is my first blogpost and I'm really happy to be here in Blogger. I actually created this blog way back in 2010 but I caught a very dangerous disease: the laziness syndrome. So I didn't finished it. Haha! So two weeks ago, as I was surfing the net, I accidentally opened my blogger account and decided that I should continue what I planned to do few years back.

Actually, the blog that I want to do is a personal blog of my daily life as a student. But recently, I became fond of using cosmetics and I really think that it is a girl's "must-haves". Well, using cosmetics didn't mean that we don't like the effect of natural beauty. These products can enhance it. Furthermore, these can bring out the different faces in you. That is why I decided that I will make this one a beauty blog and I will just make another one for my personal life. :)

This blog will contain reviews of make-up products, skin care products and accessories that I've used and tested. I am not, in any means, affiliated with any of these manufacturing companies. I will make review of a product that is solely based from my experience. Keep in mind that every people have different skin reactions to a certain product. So, even if I tell you that the product is a HG for me, it does not assure you that the effect will be the same as mine. I'm afraid to say that you should try it at your own risk.

As a student, budgeting is my everyday scenario. I don't have a large amount of money for these products so I carefully examine them before I buy them. (^_^)

As for my face, I have a very sensitive and oily ones -- means that if a not-so-good product touches my face, breakouts will be everywhere! lol.

Whoa, my post is too long. I should end it in here. By the way, I'll promise that I am going to update this blog as often as I could. And uhh, don't worry, I don't bite! We can be friends! What do you think? :)

'Till my next post! xoxo
